ALTON - 30 children visited Alton Memorial Hospital on March 29 for the latest installment of "Kids in the Kitchen."

The children gather around AMH chef Earl Nicholson, back row center, and Dr. Laura Hill, far right, at the conclusion of a program where they learned recipes for 5-bean salad, trail mix, black bean pizza, peanut butter hummus and black bean cupcakes.
