River Bend Growth Association Cuts Ribbon to Celebrate Glenhaven Garden’s Name Change to Evergreen Place Supportive Living

Trish Holmes, Director of Member Services for the River Bend Growth Association and many of itsmember-ambassadors conducted a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate Glenhaven Gardens Assisted LivingApartments name change to Evergreen Place Supportive Living. Though the name is new, the residents in the community haven’t seen a change in the high-level of care offered by a staff that strives to feels like family. Director Laura Orban said that the work of Evergreen Place is to reshape the idea of aging, with an emphasis on helping our residents live life to the fullest. Their mission is simple she said “We are committed to supporting and maintaining the dignity, independence and wellness of each senior and their family. As you enter our doors, you'll experience our team, residents and families celebrating life and the spirit of community.” Located in a peaceful wooded area adjacent to Alton Memorial Hospital, Evergreen Place comprises 92- apartments, a large dining room, beauty parlor/barber shop, fitness center, convenience store, and other amenities; all intended to make life at Evergreen Place exceptional.
