River Bend Growth Association February 2015 Small Business of the Month award winner: Alvareita’s College of Cosmetology, Inc.

Godfrey, IL – Alvareita’s College of Cosmetology is the River Bend Growth Association’s February 2015 Small Business of the Month.  Alvareita’s, located at 3048 Godfrey Road in Godfrey, was acknowledged for its importance to the local economy and community involvement.  Joell Aguirre, Director of Member Services for the Growth Association MC’d the event in which RBGA Ambassador Amy Schaake, Director of Advertising for the Edwardsville Intelligencer and Co-Chair of RBGA’s Awards Committee, presented Judy Grigg, Manager of Alvareita’s Godfrey Campus, with a sign noting the achievement that she place outside the school along Godfrey Road.  Schaake also described the benefits Alvareita’s will receive in the form of positive public visibility through articles in the Intelligencer, The Telegraph, AdvantageNews, RiverBender.com and EdGlenToday.com; as well as posting of RiverBender.com’s video of the SBotM presentation on GrowthAssociation.com, RiverBender.com (and RiverBender.com’s facebook page) and EdGlenToday.com.
