Following this afternoon's action, teams across the country will gather and await the NCAA's announcement of the 68-team, national tournament field. Both Illinois and Missouri were eliminated in the quarterfinal round of their respective conference tournament. Illinois head coach John Groce says that his team's resume should earn them a birth in the field.
The tournament field will be announced this evening starting with the #1 seeds in each region at 6 p.m.
