The Roxana Lady Shells defeated the Carlinville Lady Cavaliers, 49-43 Monday night in a South Central Conference contest. The Lady Cavs led 27-21 at halftime but the Shells outscored Carlinville, 28-16 in the second half to improve to 6-and-3 overall (2-2 in the SCC). Carlinville drops to 1-and-7 overall (0-4 in the SCC).
Roxana senior Paige Stacy had a game-high 19 points in the win. Sophomore Maddie Sheraka added 14.
