It was a rough night for area boys basketball teams Tuesday night.  Those suffering losses last night: Alton, Civic Memorial, Roxana, Southwestern, & EA/WR.  It was victories Tuesday for Marquette & Jerseyville.

The Flyers led the Redbirds, 50-49 after three quarters and then outscored Alton, 17-9 in the fourth period (for the nine point win).
