Brandon Moss got the scoring started in the first inning with his 7th home run of the season. The Redbirds added 3-runs in the 7th inning.
The Cards won 3 out of 4 in the series from Philadelphia. St. Louis is now 15-and-14 while the Phils fall to 16-and-13.
The Cardinals rallied for two runs in the 9th inning to edge the Phillies, 5-4 at Busch Stadium Wednesday night. Matt Holliday's walk-off RBI-single was the game-winning hit. Stephen Piscotty tied the game in the 9th (4-4) with an RBI-single.
