The Lewis and Clark Trailblazers fell to Three Rivers College, 76-72 last night at George Terry Riverbend Arena (in Godfrey).  Three Rivers got a three pointer from Ibrahim Djambo with 8.5 seconds left to snap a 72-72 tie and send the Raiders home with a road win.

The Trailblazers fell to 3-and-8 while Three Rivers improved to 9-and-4 with the victory.  Djambo finished with 19 points on the night.  Ayinde Sprewell added 18 for the Raiders.  The Blazers were led by Sam Taylor’s team high 16 points including 3-3’s in a losing cause.

Lewis and Clark had a 6-points lead with about 7 minutes to go at 60-54.  A couple minutes later they still led the game, 66-61 but free throw shooting cost them down the stretch.  The Trailblazers went 8-for-16 from the FT line in the second half.
