Number-8 Minnesota won a battle of two highly-ranked college basketball teams with the Golden Gophers' 84-67 win over 12th-ranked Illinois Wednesday.
Brandon Paul led the Fighting Illini with 21 points in defeat. Illinois fell to 14-and-3 and travels to Wisconsin for a Saturday game. You can hear that game on Z-1570 with the pre-game at 12:30pm.
