Rice and Cosby Suspended Indefinitely

The news out of Champaign wasn't all positive despite an Illini win over Penn State Saturday. Prior to the game, Illinois head coach John Groce announced that senior guard Rayvonte Rice and junior guard Aaron Cosby have been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules. Groce declined to elaborate on the specifics but did indicate that the two could return to the team this season if they "make better choices and make the necessary progress to rejoin the line up".
