The Fighting Illini fell to Wisconsin, 74-68 in Big Ten basketball Sunday. Illinois’ Joseph Bertrand had a team high 17 points in a losing cause as five Illini players hit double figures. Nnanna Egwu scored 14 points while Brandon Paul chipped in with 13. Illinois dropped to 15-and-8 (2-and-7 in the Big Ten) while the Badgers improved to 15-and-7 (6-and-3 in the conference).
Illinois went 2-13 from the three-point line at Assembly Hall Sunday. The Illini will host Indiana Thursday night in Champaign.
