Nathan Scheelhaase threw for 307 yards with a pair of scores in his final game for the Illini. Illinois ends the season 4-8 overall and just 1-7 in conference play.
Elsewhere, the fifth-ranked Missouri Tigers punched their ticket to the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta by knocking off #19 Texas A&M 28-21 at Faurot Field. Josh Franklin threw for 233 yards and a pair of scores to guide the Tigers to their 11th win of the season and their first SEC East championship. Missouri improves to 11-1 and 7-1 in the SEC. Texas A&M falls to 8-4 overall and 4-4 in conference play. The Tigers will face Auburn in the SEC Championship game in Atlanta, Georgia on December 7th.
