Illinois fell to Michigan Sunday in Big Ten basketball. The final in Champaign, 74-60 in favor of the Wolverines. Brandon Paul had 15 points and D.J. Richardson added 12 but the Fighting Illini fell to 15-and-6 on the year with a 2-and-5 Big Ten record. Michigan was led by Trey Burke’s 19 points. The Wolverines improve to 19-and-1 on the year and 6-and-1 in the league.
