Patrick Kane scored 3:07 into the second overtime to give the Blackhawks a 4-3 win over the Blues at Scottrade Center in Game Five of their Western Conference First Round Playoff Series Thursday night. St. Louis still leads the best-of-seven series, 3-2.
The Blues battled back from a 3-1 deficit in the third period to tie the game on goals from Robby Fabbri and David Backes. Backes tied the game at 3 with five minutes to go in regulation.
Shots on goal favored the blues, 46-35. Brian Elliott made 31 saves for St. Louis while Chicago goalie Corey Crawford made 43 saves in the win.
* Game Six will be played Saturday night (7 pm) at United Center in Chicago.
