The final NCAA men's basketball polls have been released for the 2019-20 season.  The Associated Press (A.P.) poll came out on Wednesday while the final rankings for the coaches poll was released earlier this week.  


The top 3 teams were the same in both polls:

(1) Kansas (28-3)

(2) Gonzaga (31-2)

(3) Dayton (29-2)




The Illinois Fighting Illini men's basketball squad finished 21st (AP) & 22nd (coaches) in the polls.  Illinois ended the season with a record of 21-and-10. 


Six Big Ten teams were listed in the Top 25 final rankings >> Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Maryland, Wisconsin, & Ohio State.  The highest ranked Big Ten team was Michigan State coming in at #9 in the A.P. Poll.  Maryland was 12th, Wisconsin 17th, Ohio State 19th, & Iowa 25th.
