The C.M. Lady Eagles defeated the Alton Lady Redbirds Monday night in girls prep basketball, 52-42. The Eagles built a double digit lead at halftime (25-14) and held off the Redbirds in the 4th quarter for their 12th win of the season.
The Eagles improved to 12-and-6 while the Redbirds dropped to 4-and-12.
Megan Trost led C.M. with a team high 14 points – Addie Ballard adeded 13 for the Eagles (McKenzie Satterfield scored 9 and Tory Knight chipped in with 8)
Alton sophomore Jordann Wilson had a game high 20 points. Lajarvia Brown added 9 for the Redbirds.
