The struggles continued for the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night as the Anaheim Ducks battled back to earn a 6-5 win in a shootout. Nick Bonino netted the deciding goal to help the Ducks improve to 7-2-1. Bobby Ryan scored twice and also had two assists in the victory. Ducks goaltender Viktor Fasth made 26 saves to become the first goalie in 8 years to win his first five starts.
Alexander Steen, David Backes and Chris Stewart each lit the lamp for the Blues, who dropped their third straight to fall to 6-4-1. Brian Elliott also recorded 18 saves in the loss.
