The St. Louis Cardinals and pitcher Miles Mikolas have, according to numerous sources, agreed to a four-year contract extension. The $68-million deal goes into effect in the 2020 season, running through 2023. Mikolas was recently named the team's opening day starter.
The team is expected to officially announce the deal this (Tuesday) afternoon.
