(St. Louis, MO) -- The St. Louis Blues have placed rookie forward Vladimir Tarasenko on injured reserve. The 21-year-old suffered an undisclosed injury in Wednesday's 1-0 overtime loss to the Colorado Avalanche. Tarasenko played in all 17 games to that point, totaling six goals and six assists. The Blues have recalled forward Chris Porter from Peoria of the AHL. The Note will host the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight at the Scottrade Center. The Blues have lost two straight to drop to 9-6-and-1 on the season. St. Louis started the season 6-and-1. Columbus is 5-10-and-2 after defeating the Red Wings Thursday night. Puck drops at 7:00.
