The St. Louis Blues have announced their home has been renamed. Known as the Scottrade Center since 2006, the building originally known as the Kiel Center will now be known as the Enterprise Center. Enterprise Rent-A-Car had purchased naming rights for the next 15 years with an option to extend for an additional 5 years.
Financial terms of the deal are not being made public at this time. Scottrade was recently purchased by TD Ameritrade, which did not wish to continue its sponsorship. The facility opened in 1994, and was known as the Kiel Center until 2000, when it was renamed the Savvis Center. Scottrade purchased the naming rights in 2006. There are currently about $70-million in renovations being performed at the building.
