St. Louis University improved to 5-and-3 on the season with a 67-63 win over North Texas Wednesday night at Chaifetz Arena. Jordair Jett and Cody Ellis scored 17 points apiece for the Billikens while Chris Jones led the Mean Green with 21 points on the night. North Texas dropped to 3-and-6 on the year.
North Texas led at halftime, 36-34. SLU went 7-for-18 on the night from the three-point line.
Next up for the Billikens, a home game Saturday night against Tennessee-Martin.
