THIS IS AN EXTRA MILE EVENT: Mud Mountain is a unique 5K race and 1 mile Fun Run. This annual event at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is held on an NCAA-certified collegiate course that is fun and challenging for experienced and first-time runners alike. The race is hosted by the Edwardsville Cross Country and Track & Field Booster Club. This is the single largest fund raising event for cross country and track, and all proceeds support Edwardsville’s running teams at the high school and middle school levels. If you plan on registering at the course on race day, please arrive early. Please be sure to park in the designated parking areas only and not along the side of the road.
