April 2018
ROW to ZERO
4/7/2018 -
Row to Zero is an event to raise awareness for Sexual Assault. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month so we chose a date in April to host this event. The event is to row a half marathon in teams of 5 or less. The rowers will be set at 21,098 meters and each team will row to Zero with the idea that each team is working together to end Sexual Assault. All proceeds will go to Fontebella Maternity Home.

One out of every 6 women and 3% of men have been a victim of attempted or complete rape in their lifetime. On average there are 321,500 victims of rape and sexual assault in the United States each year. One in 3 girls and 1 in 5 boys will become a victim before their 18th birthday.

Cost: $120 per team (teams can be 1-5 members, but cost for the rower is fixed at $120). Use promo code R20DISCOUNT through March 14, 2018 to get the early bird price of $100. No refunds, but we will transfer your registration to someone else if you cannot attend. All participants will receive a goodie bag.

Arrival time and check in will be from 8am-8:30am. At 8:30am we will have a speaker and give more instructions on how the event will go. At 9am we will start rowing.

Food and water will be available to participants throughout the morning.

Feel free to bring your own Concept 2 rower for your team if you choose. Please contact Crystal Gedris, 618-830-6371, if you are planning to bring your own. Registration will close March 31, 2018 at 9pm.
