***DATE CHANGE*** Join New Vision Christian academy at Bethesda Temple Church of Alton for an inspirational Black history program on Sunday, February 25th at 4:00 pm, as we celebrate two black achievers from the Alton community. Students will perform a skit and sing. Bethesda Temple will award it's college scholarship recipients for the second quarter, and two outstanding men in Alton will be recognized. They are Judge Duane Bailey who has served Madison county in a variety ways including as a circuit Court judge, and Mr. Ben Golley , Entrepreneur -Owner-Operator of Today's Beauty Supply on Central Avenue. The key note speaker will be Dr. Tiffany Fane, Ph.d of the Hazelwood School District. Special music will be rendered by the BTCA choir and eleven year old saxophonist, Noah Newson. A light reception will follow this free event that is open to the public.
