March 2018
Art Alive
3/10/2018 -

A brand new event to the area, ART ALIVE, will be presented by the Edwardsville Arts Center, March 10th 2018, 6-9 pm, on the third floor of the Wildey Theatre. Many of the areas favorite artists will be creating works live during the event including painting, fiber, stained glass, watercolor, and ceramics.

The EAC Fundraising Committee invites you to “Interact with the artists and bid on their works as they create right in front of you. While enjoying the live music, you can have your portrait drawn by a caricature artist, put your brush to a canvas and create a collaborative painting, and enjoy a selection of cocktails and hors d’oevres. And of course go home with brand new art for your home!”

Tickets are available online at www.EdwardsvilleArtsCenter.com/events for $50 and space is limited to 150 art lovers. The EAC is grateful and proud to announce that local law firm Mathis, Marifian & Richter, Ltd. will be the sole sponsor of Art Alive. Over the years, MMR has played a huge role in supporting the local arts. Among its many efforts, the firm annually sponsors “Best of Show” for the Edwardsville Art Fair, the High School Sculpture in the City Program for Belleville’s Art on the Square and Highland’s Art in the Park.
