The 2018 Orchid Show offers visitors a once-a-year opportunity to see a rotating display of hundreds of orchids from the Garden’s expansive permanent living collection amid a tropical oasis inside the Orthwein Floral Display Hall.

This year, travel back to the “orchid mania” of the Victorian era, a time when passionate plant enthusiasts sought to collect and cultivate newly discovered and exotic orchid species, no matter what the trial, tribulation, or cost. Discover how Garden scientists and horticulturalists have learned from and expanded on the knowledge gained through "orchid mania."

ADMISSION: Free for Garden members and their children $5.00 per person (ages 3 and up) in addition to regular Garden admission ($12 adults; $6 St. Louis City/County residents; free children ages 12 and under)
