Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, emphasizes the natural beauty of flower materials, as well as symmetric compositions, empty space, and principles of minimalism. Dr. Chikako Usui, President of the Japan America Society St. Louis, will lead an Ikebana workshop and demonstration.
