Invoking Stillness: Pranayama, Mantra, & Yin Yoga Workshop

Join Kristen Coyle for an afternoon of breathing, chanting, and gravity fed yoga……

This workshop will explore the classical pranayama, mantra and Yin Yoga techniques in a way that is potent and meditative.

Deepen your practice and understanding of several progressive pranayama techniques in a way that awakens introspection and observation of the quality of breath and how it affects the quality of mind.

Learn the basic sound healing vowels to clear the vital energy centers (chakras). (Note: This is different than the Seed Mantras!)

Learn a specifically chosen complex mantra and chant together until the mind rests in concentrative awareness.

Integrate the energetic practices through a gentle Yin Yoga practice that encourages freedom in the fascia and joints.

There will be approx 1-hour pranayama, 30-45 minutes mantra (including instruction and translations), and 75-90 minutes of Yin Yoga.
