Alton-Audubon Eagle Ice Festival
1/6/2018 -
Join us for our highly-anticipated annual eagle season kick-off, the Alton-Audubon Eagle Ice Festival Saturday, Jan. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.!

This free, family-friendly event takes place in the Alton Visitor Center parking lot at 200 Piasa St. in Alton. Get up close and personal to a live American Bald Eagle inside of the Alton Visitor Center. Bundle up and step outside to enjoy cold weather games, such as Ice Putt Putt Golf, Ice Cube Crush and Spin the Wheel and win great prizes! Watch ice shavings fly as sculptors transform ice blocks into beautiful works of art right before your eyes. After that, head across the river to the Audubon Center at Riverlands to see finished ice sculptures, eagles and Trumpeter Swans with the center's viewing scopes! Take a shuttle ride to look for eagles for only $5 per person.

The Eagle Festival activities are free. For more details, call 1-800-258-6645.
