December 2017
Socks for Tots
12/21/2017 -

Rosetta Brown, Alton School Board Member and a concerned citizen, will be kicking off the "Annual Socks for Tots" for all school children beginning Wednesday, November 1, through Sunday, December 31, 2017.

Socks are a everyday need for our children. We all know that if your feet are cold, everything is cold.

This all started when I noticed children at the bus stop coming to my house to warm up while waiting on bus, and not having any socks on. I asked no questions and came up with a solution. Your help is much needed to reach the children in our community.

Socks will be distributed at bus stops and at schools.

Socks can be dropped off at:

Marcia's Daycare at 1053 College, Alton between the times of 5:30am - 6:30pm

Bluff City Grill, 424 East Broadway, Alton, Il from 11am-9pm,

Legal Aid Society, 413 E. Broadway, Alton, Il from 9am-4pm

For more information please call at 618-580-2394. Socks can picked up to be distributed immediately after Christmas break.

Donations can be sent to Attn: Rosetta Brown: Socks for Tots Drive, 1109 Central Ave, Alton, IL 62002.

Thanking you in advance for your concern and interest in the welfare of all children.
