Writers from all genres and mediums, and those who want to be, are all invited to attend—fiction and nonfiction authors, poets, songwriters, freelancers, journalists, PR & marketing professionals, content writers, etc. The intent is to focus on the world of words, helping to strengthen your writing and connect with those who also share common interests, goals and challenges. Anyone who is interested from Jersey, Calhoun, Greene, Macoupin or Madison County region, as well as from surrounding communities, can join in and benefit. And please feel free to bring a friend or two! This is a recently formed group of writers from all levels, beginner to hobbyist to professional. We write poetry, journal entries, memoirs, short stories, news stories, commercial work, books and all kinds of other creative pieces. We will be sharing support and resources, including instruction and writing guidance, how to finish, finding the time and place to write, along with many other aspects of relevance and interest to our writers group.
