A Reformation Two for One! Come to Trinity Lutheran Church, 600 Water Street, Edwardsville, IL 62025 on Sunday, October 22nd at 2:00pm for two outstanding Reformation Observances on the same day. First, The Rev. Dr. Joel Biermann of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO will present, "The Eduring Legacy of the Reformation." Dr. Biermann's lecture is sure to be engaging and helpful for all to understand that the Reformation is not simply a matter of something 500 years old but that it's result remains with us today. Second, following the lecture, we will have a Reformation Hymn sing, singing the hymns of the Reformation and listening to how they still confess the Scriptural truth of the Gospel today. Mr. Christopher Loemker, Director of Music at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Collinsville, IL will be on the organ bench. Cost is free, the event should conclude by 4:00pm or so with refreshments!
