        Yin yoga - Wednesdays, Oct. 4, 11, 18 - $12 drop-in ~ Sasha Bassett

Yin Yoga uses passive postures held for longer periods of time (2-5 minutes) while relaxing the muscles, which allows for deep opening of the connective tissues in the body. Class begins with simple breathing techniques and ends with savasana. This is a slower, more sustained practice with mostly sitting or lying postures that target the hips, pelvis and spine. Yin yoga is quiet and calming. No yoga experience required and all levels are welcome.
