June 2017
STEAM Space Station Earth
6/28/2017 -

Summer is the perfect time to keep your kids interested in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Extra STEAM activities will include using collected data from the International Space Station and other sources to learn about the elements of air, earth, fire and water. We will also be using the NASA Global Observer app to help scientists track changes in clouds, water, plants and other life in support of climate research. Check our newsletter or webpage for weekly topics. The June 1 session includes a robotics class provided by Sylvan Learning Center. Registration is limited to ages 7 and up and maximum group size is 15.
