Yoga for Functional Aging

We lose bone and muscle mass as we age, which can lead to a host of health problems. This class focuses on yoga postures that promote flexibility, coordination, strength and mobility while incorporating some vinyasa flows to increase the heart rate a little. Meditation and pranayama (breathwork) are practiced to connect the body and mind. Beginners are welcome and modifications and progressions are available to suit all individuals.
