Trivia Night & Silent Auction for Owen Gunter
11/5/2016 -

Owen Gunter is a 19-month old who was diagnosed on August 20th with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, an extremely aggressive form of pediatric cancer. Due to the aggressive nature of his diagnosis, emergency radiation, chemotherapy, and eventually surgery will need to take place.

On Saturday, November 5th, friends of the Gunter family are hosting a trivia night and silent auction to benefit to help with medical costs. The event will be held at the Rox-Arena, located at 2 Park Drive in Roxana. Doors for the event will open at 6:00 p.m., with trivia beginning at 7:00 p.m.

A 50/50 raffle will also take place at the event, and concessions will be available for purchase.

One donor, Big Kid Games out of Wood River, is offering a private raffle for a set of “Corn Hole” Boxes. Tickets for the “Corn Hole” raffle are $10 each.

Sponsorships for the event and silent auction donations are still being accepted by the group until Wednesday, November 2nd.

The cost for a trivia team is $10 per person, with a maximum of ten people per team. Teams are allowed to bring their own snacks, however, alcohol is prohibited.

Pre-reservations for trivia teams are preferred. Event sponsorship opportunities or trivia teams can be paid for with cash or check. Monetary donations can also be made to the Owen Gunter Benefit Fund at 1st Mid America Credit Union locations.
