Altonized Community Federal Credit Union is teaming up with the Parrot Heads of the Riverbend and are currently collecting school supplies for a backpack giveaway that will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6 from 9am-11am at the Credit Union or until supplies run out.

They have 200 backpacks and will, hopefully, fill all with supplies and hand out to kids on 8/6. Children must be present to receive a backpack.
