The Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Little League Association (EGCLLA) will recognize Vince Allaria for his 30 years of volunteering for the organization.  This is NOT a retirement party; this is a recognition ceremony for all the years Vince has dedicated to the youth of the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon area.

Vince joined the EGCLLA Board of Directors in 1986; he was appointed Commissioner in 1989.  He severed as the league Commissioner through the 2012 season and is currently the 6^th/7^th Grade Division Chairman.  Vince coached his three sons while they played in the EGCLLA and he is presently coaching his grandson in the 2^nd Grade Division.  Vince was instrumental in having lights installed at the fields utilized by the EGCLLA in Edwardsville and Glen Carbon

Vince will throw out the first pitch before the 12:00pm game at Historic Leclaire field.  He will be at the field from 12-2 to visit with friends and current and former league participants.  Please stop by and share a favorite Little League memory with Vince on Saturday, June 4 at Historic Leclaire field.

The Edwardsville / Glen Carbon Little League Association (EGCLLA) is a privately run, non-profit, volunteer organization that provides recreational summer baseball and tee ball leagues for children in Kindergarten through the 12th grade.  The EGCLLA is not a part of the City of Edwardsville or the Village of Glen Carbon parks departments.  The EGCLLA does have practices and play games on city-owned and village-owned fields.  The EGCLLA is organized and administered by a volunteer Board of Directors.
