Vibrational Sound Therapy is the practice of using sound (vibration) frequencies to realize and correct imbalances. Sound is a form of energy or Chi and the entire body absorbs and emits sound. Using the correct vibrational frequencies promotes healing and brings the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies back into energetic balance. Sound can reach places that traditional medicine cannot go.Resonance is an amazing phenomenon that occurs in nature. Scientific studies have shown that sound can produce changes in the human body. It is a well-known scientific fact that anything that vibrates has a natural resonant frequency and will spontaneously begin to vibrate in response to external vibrations (good or bad). This sympathetic vibration is called resonance, which literally means to re-sound or to echo. Vibrational Sound Therapy works on this principle of resonance. When there is a blockage or the body is “out of tune” the organ or system has stopped vibrating at its healthy frequency. By using sound, light, color and intention, we work to bring the body back into vibrational balance. it is said each chakra relates to a musical note and we can make changes to the chakras with combinations of those notes. In the physical body, sound vibration can rapidly alter your body’s biochemistry and bring your body’s systems and organs back into harmonic balance. Different parts of the brain are affected by the sounds, promoting the release of hormones and neuro-chemicals that can bring about almost instantaneous feelings of peace, deep relaxation, stress reduction, increased blood flow, enhanced immune response, fully integrated body & mind, and transcendence to higher levels of consciousness.
