Holy Cross Lenten Fish Fries
3/11/2016 -

The congregation of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Livingston is once again gearing up for their annual Lenten fish fries. The community is invited to join them for good food and neighborly fellowship on Friday evenings, beginning Feb. 12 and continuing through March 18.

Regular dinners will be available with cod tails, Alaskan white fish, catfish fillets, or shrimp. Dinners will include bread, a choice of two side items from the following: French fries, cole slaw, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, or Holy Cross’ famous homemade potato salad. Dinners also come with coffee or tea and a delicious dessert provided by members of the congregation.

All regular dinners will be $9. “Senior” dinners with smaller servings of fish and sides will be available for $7, while child’s plates with one side for kids 12 and under will be $5. Sandwiches (one piece of fish) in white fish, cod and catfish will be $5, and they come with fries. Shrimp and fries only will be $7. Additional side items will be $2, and soda will cost 75 cents.

Hours for serving will be from 4:30-7:00 p.m. Carry-outs will also be available.

Parking is available behind the church hall. Plan to come out and enjoy some hospitality and good food.
