Lions Club members and volunteers will be visible throughout the communities of Edwardsville and Glen Carbon on Oct. 9 and Oct. 10, accepting donations to fund vision and hearing programs that aided thousands of men, women and children every year since 1952.

Lions will be wearing bright yellow aprons and collecting donations in canisters.

Candy Day donations are used locally and statewide to support vision and hearing related program services of the Lions of Illinois Foundation and local Lions Clubs.
