Stephen King’s powerful novel unleashes Carrie’s telekinetic powers after being humiliated by her classmates for the last time at her senior prom. The film received two Academy Award nominations, one for Sissy Spacek in the title role and one for Piper Laurie as her domineering abusive mother. 
Edwardsville’s own, Doug Cox, plays a photographer in the movie. In the past 40 years, Doug has made dozens of appearances on television, in films, and on stage. Following the movie, Doug will participate in a Q&A with the audience and an autograph session. Presented by Friends Of The Wildey
