The Advisory Board of the Catholic Children’s Home is pleased to announce Down by the River, a concert and silent auction benefitting the Catholic Children’s Home in Alton, Illinois.  Our featured music artists will be the Big Shake Daddies.  The evening will also highlight a silent auction and dancing.  Proceeds of the event will be used to support critically needed youth programs and services.  The event will be on Saturday, September 19, 2015 on the promenade of the National Great Rivers Museum, located at the Melvin Price Locks and Dam in Alton, Illinois.  The silent auction and Big Shake Daddies are scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm.  Casual evening attire is suggested.  Tickets to the event are currently available for $25.00 per person.
