A Mother's Day Birding Hike for beginners will be held in the Gilbert Lake Division. Plan a special day for mom by starting with a morning walk at the refuge to learn about bird watching. Binoculars and bird guides will be provided. The Gilbert Lake walking trail is a loose gravel trail.

Directions: The Two Rivers National Wildlife Refuge is located 4.5 miles west of the Brussels Free Ferry along Hagen Road in Calhoun County off of County Road 1.
