Join Citizens for Modern Transit and the Saint Louis Football Club as they spread their love for transit during the first-ever Transit Crush event, designed to give transit enthusiasts the chance to unite in support of their love for the region’s transit system through a flash mob-style “crush” on board the train during the evening commute. The plan is also to “blow up” social media with transit love selfies and the use of #cmttransitcrush.

Volunteers are needed to help distribute information about CMT’s Guaranteed Ride Home program at a MetroLink station before gathering with other transit riders to create the “crush.” All volunteer participants will get a free Transit Crush T-shirt and more. To register, visit www.cmt-stl.org.

The Transit Crush event will culminate with a happy hour at Tom’s Bar and Grill, located at 20 S. Euclid Ave., in the Central West End. Those in attendance will also get to take part in a meet and greet with a host of players from the Saint Louis Football Club.
