On Saturday, February 7, 2015, The Junior Service Club of Edwardsville/Glen Carbon (JSC) will be hosting the 5^th Annual Charity Gala at Sunset Hills Country Club.  Tickets are on sale for $100 per person and will include dinner, open bar, silent and live auction, and live entertainment by SLAM!. We anticipate approximately 225 guests at this exciting event.

The JSC is a 501(c)3 philanthropic women’s organization that has been providing assistance to families and other non-profit organizations in the Edwardsville & Glen Carbon communities for over 75 years. Last year’s auction was a huge success raising over $41,000. All of the funds raised by the JSC go back into to the community in the form of grants to local non-profit organizations such as the Glen-Ed Food Pantry, Riverbend Head Start, Habitat for Humanity, IL Center for Autism, and many others. In 2013, the JSC completed the area’s first Boundless Playground at Township Park.  

The JSC was also just awarded the 2014 IL Governor’s Cup Award – a HUGE honor!  This award recognizes volunteers across the state for their work in improving their communities.
