Unfortunately, we have to cancel the bird banding program due to unforeseen events. At this time we can not reschedule this spring, but hopefully, we will be able to offer this program again in the future. Join Travis Wilcoxen, a biology professor at Millikin University and licensed bird bander for a morning of capturing, measuring, and banding resident and migratory birds at The Nature Institute. This program will be completely outdoors and an open house style event. Travis will have nets up and will demonstrate how to safely handle the birds and explain why banding is important. $10/member ticket and $12/nonmember ticket.
