Alton Farmers' & Artisans' Market 2024 Season!
10/12/2024 -
The 2024 season of the Alton Farmers' & Artisans' Market begins on Sat, May 11th (always Mother’s Day weekend!) in the parking lot at the corner of Landmarks Blvd. & Henry Street.

The Market will be in session from 8 am-Noon on Saturday mornings through Oct 21st.
Please note that on June 22nd our event is being displaced to accommodate the Powerboat Championship Race on the Mississippi.

On 6/22 the Market will be relocated to the parking lot at the corner of Broadway & Ridge Street (next to FLOCK Food Truck Park).

You’ll find a wide selection of locally-grown seasonal fruits and vegetables including heirloom varieties and sustainably grown crops, fresh cut flowers, potted plants, grass-fed meat, local honey, bread and other baked goods, hot & iced coffee, fresh farm eggs, handmade soap, and a large assortment of hand-crafted artwork such as pottery, jewelry, and woodworking items.  As of 2023, we are now allowed to welcome vendors who will be serving meals that are ready to eat on-site, so we expect an abundance of delicious new breakfast and lunch items to be available!

Vendor fees are $12 per week to sell homegrown or handmade products, and the registration form can be found at this link:

We have many exciting things planned for this season, including live music, artist demonstrations, community yard sales, the return of the Canine Carnival, and much more!

We offer free booth space for non-profit organizations, and the first week is free for any vendor up to 18 years of age to encourage our youth to try their hand as an entrepreneur!

Attention SNAP recipients: Alton Main Street has received a grant from the Experimental Station to double your buying power, and you can receive a dollar-for-dollar match every week with no limit. Just visit the information booth to swipe your card! For more info, please visit www.DowntownAlton.com
