1 lb. Velveeta, cubed
1/2 stick butter
2 c. milk
2 c. elbow macaroni-cooked, rinsed & drained
salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions. While macaroni is cooking, place Velveeta, butter and milk in a microwave safe dish. Microwave for 10 minutes at 50% power stirring half way through. Cheese sauce should be fairly smooth and will be runny. It will set during baking.

Transfer cheese sauce & macaroni to greased 2-qt casserole. Bake uncovered for 20-30 minutes. Note: if you're using a round casserole that will fit in your microwave you may make the cheese sauce in your casserole and just add the macaroni to the cheese sauce when it's finished, then bake as directed.
