Sour Cream and Hamburger Casserole
1 lb. hamburger,
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. sugar
1/2 t. pepper
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sour cream
3/8c. sliced green onions
1 1/2 c. cooked fine egg noodles
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Brown hamburger in large skillet; drain. Add tomato sauce, garlic, sugar, salt & pepper. Bring to a boil; cover. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Transfer meat to greased dish. Set aside.
Beat cream cheese & sour cream at low speed with electric mixer until smooth. Add green onions, stirring gently to combine. Spread sour cream mixture evenly over meat mixture. Top with cooked noodles. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over mixture and sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until hot & bubbly.
